Plan on making your reservations for Elks Day at the Races early. This event will be held at Oaklawn Park and Hot Springs Elks Lodge on Saturday, February 24, 2018. All Elks, spouses and guests are invited to attend. You have the pick of two different hotels to choose from: the Hotel Hot Springs located downtown at 305 Malvern Avenue and is a very nice updated facility—the rate per night for a couple is $126.99 plus tax —call (877)623-6697 for reservations or the hotel at (501) 623-6600. The La Quinta Inn &Suites is located at 4253 Central Avenue directly behind the Blue Monkey Grill at 4263 Central Avenue. The rate is $75.00 plus tax a night. Call (501)520-6400 for reservations.

Race track packages are $25.00 per person. This includes reserved seating and banquet tickets after the races. Order your package by sending a check or money order to Mike Muldoon. Cut-off for orders is February 17, 2018.

Come and meet Grand Exalted Ruler, Malcolm J. (Mac) McPherson and Grand First Lady, Patricia. State President, Johnny Hutchison and Arkansas First Lady, Phyllis, will attend as well other Grand Lodge officials and state officers and their spouses.

 The Grand and his group will dine at the lodge on Friday night eating fried/baked catfish or chicken breast plus trimmings. Come out and meet the Grand and First Lady after dinner.

Past Grand Exalted Ruler, Millerd Pickering, from Oklahoma will bring a bus load of Oklahoma Elks and spouses, so be there to show them Arkansas hospitality!!!

Robert Kelsey from the Fort Smith Lodge will again provide entertainment for the dance after the banquet.
